Welcome to Kids In Between!
Kids in Between is a publisher and distributor of educational materials. The company was formed almost 30 years ago because we felt there were plenty of materials for low functioning students, and there were plenty of materials for students functioning on level. What we felt were missing from the market were materials for the "kids in between," or those older students who couldn't quite handle a standard textbook, but that could read about the 4th grade. Many publishing houses put out reading materials for the kids in between, but they didn't publish much for the other content areas. Our name represents the population we think we're serving. Since getting started years ago, the variety of our materials has grown as well as the types of places using our materials.

A word about our materials...
Our materials are not exciting, stimulating, interesting or motivating. Our materials are dull just like everyone else's. We simply admit it. We have not found a way to make verbs or fractions exciting. We believe our materials are well sequenced, fairly repetitive and simplified. They do not have any moving parts and they are not in color. There's no way of knowing if our materials will work with your students. If our materials work with your students, we're happy for you, them, and us. If the materials don't work, send them back.
Most of our materials are written at about a 4.0 reading level. They are written in a simple, direct style with lots of repetition to help students finally grasp topics that have eluded them. Most of our materials include text, worksheets, and tests which are reproducible. By reproducible, we mean that with a copier you can make as many copies as you need for ONE classroom. The copyright police come out in force when you reproduce for the entire 6th grade team or an entire school system.
You may FAX or mail your order to us. For FAX orders, we accept purchase orders or credit cards (Sorry, Visa or Mastercard only). Please have your credit card number and expiration date available. You can rest assured that your credit card information is safe if you FAX your order.
For mail orders, we accept personal checks or money orders. We get orders processed within 48 hours and most deliveries take from 3-5 business days. We ship larger orders via UPS and smaller orders via the postal system. If two weeks have gone by and you have yet to receive your order, please give us a call.

Please add a minimum of $7 shipping and handling. If your subtotal amount is over $70, please add 10%.
